BUSINESS SUPPORT: FUNDING AND NETWORKS

Consulting for businesses since 2013 both from academia to business (at the University of Paderborn and then at Liverpool John Mooores University) and then from a consulting business since 2020 means that we have the versatility to provide business support other than in technology. WHAT CAN OUR BUSINESS SUPPORT DO FOR YOU?

Funding

You may have a business vision that cannot be supported by your current cash flow. Fortunately this problem is recognised at many levels from national to local and many funding initiatives are available. Two challenges are identifying which is most appropriate and also whether your business is eligible for support. We can help you with these questions through our experience of dealing with national (such as in the UK Innovate UK  or in Germany ZIM ), regional and international (EU) funding programmes.

As of September 2023 the UK has rejoined the Horizon Europe programme. We can work with businesses in UK, across the EU, or based in countries associated with European funding programmes that do not fall into either category. Because European funding is typically associated with international collaboration, we can help you build a group of collaborating organisations for your bid.

Networks

How can we support your business through the growth of your network of business partners? We have lengthy experience of working for and on behalf of many businesses and research organisations. Through this experience we have built up a large network of contacts. Our contacts are likely to be useful to you because they frequently hold management posts and thus can interact at an equivalent level.

Our career has been spent in several countries. We have also participated in and managed international projects. These projects have established our contact network beyond the countries within which we have been based.

Thus, we can investigate your business sector, location and objectives. Based on these and discussion with you we can introduce you to relevant contacts with common interests.
